Individual Plot Synopsis -

Plot Synopsis


Charlie wakes up in the dark from his dream. There's an empty room, and he's running away from someone or something. He remembers tripping and falling, then the feeling of something cold on the floor touching his skin. He tried to get his eyes to adjust to the dark, but they wouldn’t respond.

He suddenly wondered if he was still dreaming. Charlie couldn’t remember if this ever happened before. The psychiatrist told him he would have to face his fears. What was he afraid of? He couldn’t think of anything. Not the dark, he was sure of that. He felt a dull throb of pain on the right side of his head. Something warm was running down his face, and he could feel and hear the sound of his own heart.

Reaching up, he touched the side of his head. He was bleeding. There was also a sharp pain in his wrist. It was like a shot of electricity moving up his left arm. He screamed, but no sound came out. There was nothing he could do. Nothing but lay there. No he couldn’t just lay there. Charlie goes up and moved toward where a small beam of light came through what he thought was supposed to be a door. It was. He opened it, spilling the light into the room with only a dilapidated bed torn nearly to pieces.

His wrist was bleeding. An elongated stripe went up his arm, leaving him with a burning sensation. He realized the loud sound may have been a gunshot; the bullet grazing his arm. Charlie headed down the hallway to a staircase. There at the top he stopped and opened his mouth to scream. A body lay at the bottom. This was not even his home.


As Charlie stared at the body, he slowly crept around the top of the landing, but suddenly heard a small grunt and thud coming from downstairs with a sharp and piercing scream come after, it sounded like it came from behind him, but in reality… there was no one else in the mysterious dark, or that’s what he thought.


After a small walk around the building, he discovered it only had 2 small rooms, and a staircase leading down, in the first room was rock posters that seem to have covered the wall, and satanic symbols that were drawn in blood with the foul smell of rotting…
*drip…drip…drip*
Charlie, startled whipped his head round to where the sound was coming from, it was outside. A small glass windowpane had been covered in tar and posters to keep it hidden and the sounds in… or was it to keep something else out…


Charlie slowly removed the posters to reveal another corpse pinned against a branch and the hand hanging down with the same injury on the left arm, but it being outside allowed for Charlie to see the piercing hole with a small kind of micro-chip inside which made the arm burn…


will Charlie ever escape this nightmare of reality, or will he suffer the same fate as the other corpses?
